Bollockchops in the frame for the Liverpool job, according to story reproduced on Liverpool FC site
Can't see it myself because of:
1- Why uproot from God's country.
2- Why go to a club that won't be having proper European football next season.

Now wouldn't that be funny
Would love to see Roy Hodgson get the Liverpool job, although I am sure most Liverpool fans would say he is not big enough for a big club like Liverpool. Unfortunately Liverpool are no longer a big club, sooner they get over that the sooner they might see better fortunes again. With the two clowns hanging in for every penny possible, a sale might be a long way off. Hodgson is about all they could afford anyway, but I think he`s a brilliant manager, his teams play attractive football, not the defensive mentallity that Benitez favoured last season. Hodgson is used to getting the best out of a team on a budget.
Probably won`t happen, Hodgson is better off at Fulham away from the calamity at Liverpool. You see pictures of Benitez 6 years ago and now, two different people. Wouldn`t wish the same on Hodgson.
ROFL, Sven has come out and said he would love to manage Liverpool
Hodgson is used to getting the best out of a team on a budget.
A very useful attribute to have for a club being run into the ground. (not the current one, the next one?)
Eriksson in supreme bullshining mode as he throws his hat into the Liverpool managerial ring.
''The 62-year-old Swede, who is currently in charge of the Ivory Coast at the World Cup, said: "I have been a Liverpool fan all of my life.
"I never mentioned it when I was in charge of England because I didn't think it was fair. It is every manager's dream to manage Liverpool."
Apparently, his father was a Liverpool supporter too.

Hodgson could do himself more harm than good by going to Liverpool, give him two or three at Fulham and he could well put himself in the running for the England job
I hope it's just newspaper bluster and general rumour-mongering, but there's increasing chatter that Chelsea have nearly finalised a deal to buy Torres.
The relationship between Torres and Benitez meant that there was always a fear that Torres would follow Benitez out of Anfield. If so, any renaissance at Liverpool that a new owner could create would be severely set back. Successful clubs need some real world class players to succeed, complimented by the rest of the team being in the 'very good' category. I think Liverpool as a top side are well and truly condemned to a slow and very painful death. Next season I can see us slugging it out with the likes of small, mid-table type clubs like Birmingham and Everton and Sunderland, for the few scraps falling from the top table. A great club, wrecked by two greedy American shysters.
Meanwhile, it's not all bad news, as the debt burden of the Glazer family overall is much higher than previously believed - around £1.1bn according to this report:

Hopefully, they'll drag Man U down to Liverpool's level as they milk Old Trafford for every penny they can. But somehow, I fear that won't happen.
Torres will be a big miss for Liverpool but a big big gain for Chelsea and bad news for the rest of the Prem, a strong Chelsea will be even stronger if they get him.
Latest reports about the Liverpool sale, are that whilst there are interested parties, Hicks is refusing to budge on the asking price (he wants his LIverpool cash-cow to help him recover from his business failures in the US). The article below suggests that RBS, as the major creditors of Kop Holdings, may well start to exert pressure on the two Muppets to sell.

Carrick, the Polish bloke (whose name I can't be bothered to type) and Anderson for Modric?
Er, I don't think so. Ferguson will have to do a lot better than that.

It's all relative - and more than manageable if the business activities that arise from the borrowings you've made generate enough profit to service the debt and the assets against which you've borrwed continue to retain sufficient value.
Pity then, that the Glazers are now struggling on both counts
Bollockchops has ruled himself out of the job.
TFFT...
That'd be Liverpool jumping from the frying pan into the fire IMO
...and in other news, it is reported that as many as 19 other teams will also be in the premier league next season.
Really? is there anything to verify this
Press Association, quoting comments made by Redknapp to ESPN Soccernet.
Miaow back atcha!
Everyone's free to talk about their own club, surely. I just don't have an urge to talk about Bolton or Wolves.
Thats true Saint
Senderos has moved to Fulham....thank god
The BBC Gossip Column makes depressing reading for Liverpool fans today:
Benayoun has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, fee to be finalised
Barca have entered the race for Torres
Real Madrid confident that Gerrard wants out of Anfield, with Barca President also wanting him
Inter target Mascherano has admitted he's learning Italian
Inter also targetting Johnson
Meanwhile, Babel and Riera are also to be offloaded.
I never, ever thought this would happen, but Liverpool are in danger of doing a Leeds. We certainly won't win the Prem in the next several years, by which time the despised Scum U will almost certainly have overtook our haul of league titles. That's so hard to swallow.
