It was a decent morning with sunny intervals, I even managed to mow the lawns. A big change this afternoon though with heavy showers. 6.5mm rainfall since 12.15pm.

There's been a couple of showers and the 2nd one was quite heavy but brief, 1.2mm so far.
Looks a bit dodgy again now though. 14.3C

A dry day with long spells of sunshine. Yet again that onshore Sw'ly wind blowing at nearly 20mph forces everyone inside by 5pm. Max of 17.7c today but probably nearer 22c again in north Kent with an offshore breeze.

It's been a real sunshine and showers day here. Too warm for a fleece when the sun shines, but when the showers have come in it's been dark and quite wild, as well as flipping chilly!

As an example Bingley saw 17C this morning in the brightness, but at 4pm it was just 12.9C.

EDIT: Just 11.9C at 6pm.

Observations between 9 pm last night and 9 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Mainly clear with only patchy cloud cover.
THIS MORNING: Decent sunny spells and variable cloud cover.
THIS AFTERNOON: Lenghty sunny period, it tried to cloud over for a time, though.
CURRENT: Fine and mostly clear with scattered cloud cover.         16.2 C.        80% humidity.       Dewpoint: 13.2 C.           Moderate south west winds.        Very slow rise to 1009.5 mb.   

WINDS: Fresh south west the whole time.
AIR QUALITY: Excellent, very clean and fresh.
VISIBILITY: Superb.
COMFORT FACTOR: While it continued to be very dry, the fresh wind took the edge off things temperature-wise even in direct sunshine.
RAINFALL (in mm):   Nil.
TEMPERATURES (in C):       Max: 19.4 at 3.45 pm.         Min: 16.3 at 6 am.
PRESSURE (in mb):            Max: 1009.5 currently.          Min: 1006.3 at 1.30 am last night.
