Here are the official rainfall totals from the Met Office - 36 hr totals to 06z this morning.

Locally totals will have been much higher. I recorded 70.6mm in the same period

48.9mm from this slow boring spell but split into 3 days of rainfall totals starting at 16.5, yesterday 24.6 and today 7.8mm.

Rather have thunderstorms to deliver 1-2 inches of rain as it quick and be done with it.
