Thank you for your kind comments about West Ham. Some people put some ridiculous twaddle (polite)about WHU in the previous thread.
Why others dislike them I don't know, although their football has at times been indifferent this season it has been quite good with a lot of goals scored....anyway Premiership Thread for me from now on......
Why others dislike them I don't know,
Possibly it is the knuckle draggers that frequent Upon Park? Farkin Barra ****** is what we are usually greeted with. Why are West Ham fans the only supporters in the country not able to say 'Boro'?
And possibly it is also because West Ham bang on about winning the world cup in 66 and seem to be the darlings of the FA. Boro were docked 3 points in 1997 when a virus spread through the club nad called a game off, this relegated us. Boro followed FA regulations, but a mix up (the person at the FA who advised the game could be cancelled didn't have the authority or the understanding of the rules) meant the we broke the rules. West Ham were found guilty of massively breaking the rule a few years back, were fined, but no points docked, West Ham rules. Everyone is supposed to love the 'appy ammers'

Yeah well done West Ham, Yet another London Derby next season, Chelsea will hardly have to go outside the M25 at this rate
Whilst in this thread I would also like to say Well Done Ryan Bertrand, From Gillingham to Champions League Winner.
So let me get this right - you don't like West Ham: 1. because of their accent, 2. because of the world cup in 66, 3. A virus in 1997 and 4. the Tevez affair? Maybe its time to move on Sydney eh son?
Doubt it (the moving on) that's all current fresh stuff and some of it seems very murky, after all WHU did agree to pay Sheffield Utd £25million I think it was over the affair. (So it did smell a bit).
For instance Spurs supporters still hate Arsenal for something that happened over 90 years ago. (IMO for good reason).
Fair one! Dare I mention Milwall!?
Tomorrow's game for me is a case of which ugly sister you want to get rid of. Either way you're still left with one of them.
It would be hilarious if Huddersfield, who can only sell 21,000 for this game, failed again. Jordan Rhodes on the next bus out and very little left behind.
But then Sheffield United are little better. At least they've sold 30,000+.
Hopefully a good game, ten sendings off, lots of controversy.
With my objective head on I think Town will make it this time.
This is what we've become. A club, turning over £32m a year (but about to fall - fast), that spent £7m on an improvement to a stand hardly anyone uses, which cannot finance a mere £400,000 for a run of the mill Championship player.

I think the only thing that might keep Warnock in place is his pride.
It is a recession you know
'Uddersfield have been promoted after beating the Blunts on penalties (really shite game btw) - bye bye piggies, enjoy League 1 for another season
Doesn't matter though as Huddersfield won! which is what matters.
Middlesbrough are in a similar position these days when trying to battle other clubs for players, often we cannot afford to beat other teams in the championship. We are more reliant than ever on the academy now and that won't change change any time soon. I am expecting a long stay in the championship, probably too good to go down, not good enough to go up will be Middlesbrough story for around the next 5 to 8 years I suspect, we may flirt with relegation or the play offs from time to time, but that is all.
Great to see Huddersfield go up also
