28.1°c as I type, windows open and fan on.

I live in a Victorian ice box and this is one of those few times in the year (since 2006 anyway) when I feel happy about it rather than worrying about heating bills. It's cool in summer and cold in winter.
Yestarday the hall floor rose from 14C in the morning to 16.5C in the evening. Today it rose as far as 18C. Upstairs has risen from 17C yesreday morning to 20.5C this evening. Since moving into this house I've never seen an indoor temperature ineither hall or first floor above 21C.
^ That sounds incredibly chilly Tim and rather like what I've been putting up with in this room, except that the heat has finally found its way in today, with temps rising to 24°C by 6pm and now holding up at 22°C. Perhaps I won't be needing my duvet in Pompey for the first time in nearly two years...
What the... just checked the outdoor temperature and its risen from 17.9°C at 10:15pm to 18.8°C as of 11:45pm
Currently 21C in my SE-facing kitchen-diner
Lounge 21c. WINDOWS AND DOORS OPEN....
23.6C in our East facing lounge, with the door and windows open. 27.3C outside.
Inside and outside are almost equal - 25.9C o/s & 24.9C i/s. Humidity is virtually the same too at 61%.
28.8C when I got in. 28.2C a few minutes later as the weakest of breezes comes in the now open windows...
19C outdoors, a much cooler day than yesterday (25C).

22c doors and windows open for ages....
28.8C inside, rather pleasently cooler outside.
Where's my post gone!!!!!
Living room temp 20.4c.
Hopefully a nice breeze tomorrow to freshen things up somewhat.
Downstairs now up to a toasty 19.5C (i've checked this is accurate with a second thermometer), upstairs has reached the remarkable heights of 23.5C. I expect it to fall again tonight towards 20C. Walking in from the road feels like entering an air conditioned office. It's nice not having the heating on for a change.
The secret seems to be: narrow tree lined road at front, East facing with little or no sun all day, and another house on our South side.
I feel your pain Darren
I'm on nights at present. It's a little harder to sleep in the day when it's warm as our house seems to attract heat
I like this thread.
22.8c in the east facing front room currently bathed in sunshine and 23.1c in the dining room. Warmest room in the house is our west facing upstairs bedroom at 25.1c.
A good nights sleep from the Gusty household.
