A few razor blades coming out now as the models look generally more progressive with the worst case scenario of a Saturday breakdown looking the most likely solution now. ECM delays the inevitable with a slack Sunday and Monday before the Atlantic sweeps in fo' real on Tuesday. After that it's low pressure and unsettle conditions introducing June

I still feel we'll see high pressure nosing in next weekend, though not as warmly as this weekend.

Time to sit back with a cold one and enjoy the gorgeous conditions this week and hope we get a decent thundery present at the end of it all

More embarrassing for the so called professionals once again than us, having gone all out out for the hot /dry weekend.

Well they still are at the moment. Darren Bett just said 30c or more at the weekend. If they are going to backtrack they need to do it soon to avoid egg on face.

ECM has the very warm uppers still clipping the SE on Saturday so it isn't out of the question, given any thunderstorm activity will be further west.
