Now at 47.4mm .. just a mm or so below average now, at this stage. Good to see some decent rainfall here as we approach Spring and the associated increasing take-up of moisture from trees and shrubs etc - demanding on the sandy soil here!

Just a further 2mm to add: Total = 49.4mm. The average is 53mm; with the hit 'n' miss nature of convective weather it remains to be seen if this month comes in above average or not!

Quite a strange month February was for rainfall here. Quite dry in the first three weeks or so, but then very wet in the final 8-9 days. The overall total comes out at 84.2mm, which is 164% of average. So a significantly wetter than average month.

Final total is 64.3mm which is 121% of average - thanks to the 28th seeing 12.7mm which is 24% of the local February average. There was a further 2.2mm to add from the 27th. The 28th was by far the wettest day of the month, the 23rd being second wettest at 7mm.
