Sad news emerging from Italy, where an avalanche has buried a hotel in central Italy. Fatalities already confirmed. Reports that it was possibly triggered by an earthquake.

Yes, it seems like a horrible and unavoidable coming together of circumstances with severe snowfall combined with a series of earthquakes. 

4 confirmed dead, whilst two people who were outside of the hotel at the time survived.

In better news, there's reports that rescuers have found 6 people alive inside the hotel
